Hey guildies i thought I would put up a thread about an most important subject to all wow players. The subject of gold.
The real question is how does one attain it at a decent rate? Where should one go, what to farm. Should one do quests, instance runs?
I'm a tailor/enchanter, what would be the best things for me to do to bring in the big bucks?
What about everyone else, what do you guys do to get your shiny gold coins?
Peace Leo

I've found that the best source of gold is to farm primals. As a leatherworker, selling stacks of Knothide Leather for 20g works pretty well too. Also, at 70 the experience you would normally gain from quests is converted to gold so that could also work pretty well.
Don't rely on running instances to get gold, because there's nothing really to get from them. If you're serious about getting gold, you'll farm one thing repeatedly. It gets boring but it's the best way to make gold.

I've found the best way of making gold is questing, and in the process loot everything, i mean all the grey, white and greens.. then sell these at a vendor (i dont bother with AH for green items, they cost to much to list 3-4g for BC items) and most offer between 3-8g's a piece.
White and Grey items will give atleast 1-2gs most of the time.
I also skin and sell heavy knothide leathersm clefthoof leather, cobra scales (these puppies earn 30g per piece!) and crystal enfused leathers, fel scales... the list goes on.. i NEVER farm the same place for hours on end its boring and i dont enjoy it. I prefer to quest and loot along the way and skin in the process.
This makes me about 200-300 gold per 4-5hrs of play, then if auctions sell i can end up with around 500g (tho i spent it faster then i earn it rofl).
