The time is near all my little ones to get attuned and geared for Karazhan.
This post is all about the requirements that I myself as well as Doomhamm feel necessary to be the minimal amount to enter Karazhan and do well on the first boss, second and even third boss.
For the armor situation. The best is to have all blues that are 66 and up. This is usually the top notch gear and has the best stats. If you have a couple greens it's okay because some of those greens out there are ridiculous.
Secondly I will discuss a lot of the stats that you will need to make yourself the ultimate tank you can be.
The biggest things that you'll want are Hit Points (HP), Defensive Rating and Armor.
Minimum Requirements for these in a prot warrior are:
HP-11000 Defensive Rating-480 Armor-12000 (with shield equipped)
Now for an dps/prot warrior (off tank)*with tanking gear on:
Hp-10000 Defensive Rating- 480 Armor-12000
Without tanking gear on to help DPS:
HP-9500 Def. Rating-400 Armor-7200
I hope this was somewhat informative to all you up and coming 60+ Warriors

I know man, I know. I was just kidding.
Personally I'm excited for the gear that will be coming out of Kara. That's why I'm trying to get all those ready for it. We need to make the most out of our runs and I think this will help. At least with the tanking side of things.

I've been shopping around and have laid out a gearing plan for myself, unfortunately it involves running many many tempest keep runs and shadow labs. I might also be looking for some tailors to make me a few pieces... couldn't talk my wife into the primal mooncloth specialty, she likes that shadoweave stuff. One thing I'll suggest, be patient, and don't pressure. I've seen guilds lose people because they were told "you have to do this". Encouragement and assistance works much better. I'd love to get on and run some folks thru Auchidone instances.... and to get them their Kara key stuff done.
